ADVERTISING & SPONSORSHIPS

Get out in front of an amazing audience!

Overview

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring METROCON! This year will be the 23rd METROCON ever, and we’re hoping for yet another record breaking year (we’ve had incredibly strong attendance growth post-pandemic, and we continue to find new promotional opportunities to expand our community)! With our sensational stage shows, a huge exhibitors’ area, and an incredible atmosphere, we have no place to go but up – and we want you to come with us for the ride! Our space this year is over 600,000 sq ft, occupying the entire Tampa Convention Center for three captivating days.

If you’re looking to get your brand activated with a community of highly-engaged fans, METROCON is the space for you to promote or sponsor!

There are several ways to get your name/products to our attendees – take a look at our attendance, the options for advertising with us or sponsoring us, and see what makes the most sense for you and your group – if you ever have any questions or would like to talk through sponsorship options, email CEO and Convention Owner Alex Craddock at alex@metroconventions.com.

2025 ATTENDANCE

15,142 Unique Attendees

Unique Attendance

Unique Paid Attendance includes all purchased tickets from a particular year – pre-registration and at the door, and all types of tickets purchased. This has always been the go-to leading indicator for METROCON’s success, and when asked about our “attendance”, this is the number we answer with.

17,183 Passholders

Passholders

The Passholders, or “Warm Bodies” count, includes staff, cast, volunteers, exhibitors, and anyone with a METROCON pass of any kind, whether they paid for it or not. This number is important for overall crowd maintenance, fire codes, and a general idea of who has access to the areas of the convention center that require a pass to access (which is most of them).

33,449 Turnstile

Turnstile Attendance

Turnstile attendance is often used by sporting events or other large entertainment venues. Turnstile attendance is calculated by marking one “attendee” for each day of attendance. A single day pass counts for one, whereas a three-day pass counts for three – this is used to indicate exposure potential for sponsors and exhibitors.

ADVERTISING

Get your brand out in front of our attendees with digital, social, and merch advertising! As a reminder, we’re a PG-13 event, so if you’re looking to advertise with us ensure that your advertising and your product/service are going to be in line with our content and audience.
